Today(24th of July 2009)'s talk entitled "Seen-Unseen : PRIVACY" by Dr. llias.It was about two different status of boys who have different intentions and dreams after getting into APEX University.And also about the process of how they acted to make their dreams come true.
From the talk I know that we cannot judge someone by looking on their appearance but we need to know someone by communicate from heart. Just like design, when we aim to draw palm tree ,we not only look at it's outer side but also it's inner part which we can imagine to draw it out if we look from heart.
If we did not use magnifier, could we see the words ?Do you get what I mean?
Besides, we were asked to analysis our strengths, weaknesses and opportunities.Each of them is invisible but we ourself know it and feel it.I have the ability to work with figure so I choose to study Quantity Surveying while my weakness is I'm not creative enough to design a perfect product.But I can use this opportunity to learn and practise in USM as it is a APEX University which is the good chance for me to improve and sharpen myself and at the same time explore my other strengths, weaknesses and opportunities.
