"WHAT I READ TODAY, 6th of JULY 2009, 0900-1200"
When
I walked into the school of housing, building and planning, the front
door of E48B was already crowded early in the morning as today was our
first day to attend a class in the university.I felt excited and
nervous at the same time.
My first class was RUS 101, started at 9.00am. Wan Burhanuddin, the coordinator, was introducing a title "Reading and Documenting".From the talk, I have learned the 6 important elements of reading and documenting which are intention, act, product, actor,rules and site. For instance, actors must have the aspiration so that they have the intention to do or to achieve something.Then, they will act according to rules which refers to DO's and DON'Ts. And, the product will achieve in the end as it is a site of something.
Wan Burhanuddin was also introducing the 16 lecturers who will later in charge our 10 projects respectively. After that, we were giving an hour for registering to the 10 out of 16 groups for our later on projects.These really challenge my time arrangement as I have to strive to be the first to get the limited places.
Before the first project was given, Wan Burhanuddin explained the tools to document, communicate, design, construct and serve.He also emphasized that plagiarism was prohibited.Then, we were given some time to ask questions. And the class ended at 12.00pm.
